Hi, my name is Ashley! My wonderful husband’s name is Alex. We have 3 beautiful girls, 1 of which Alex has already adopted. Unfortunately, none of them are biologically his. Alex is a full-time truck driver, but became a local driver last year so that he could be home every night during our IVF process. I myself am a full-time EMT and I am also on the Local Volunteer Fire Department. Helping others is what I LOVE to do. Unfortunately, neither of our jobs offer insurance that covers IVF, so now I’m reaching out for help. In 2006, I had an ectopic pregnancy and had to have the tube completely removed. In December 2012, I had my youngest daughter. After a rough pregnancy, I decided to have a tubal ligation. With my age at that time, I feel I should have waited, but unfortunately I did not. In August 2021 we started our IVF process. We had 5 eggs that grew perfect and were ready to transfer. We did 2 transfers back to back, both with negative outcomes. After struggling with idea that it may not work, we decided to take a break. We now have 3 frozen embryos left and are ready to try again! Our insurance has only gotten more costly, yet the coverage has gotten worse. I’m so ready to see my husband experience the joy of parenthood from the newborn stage. I know he will make the best Father, as he already has for our girls. Any help would be so appreciated!
